made it to the nationals! second place in U16 girls foil :D
…honestly though only one of the girls was actually good hahaha. I’m not too fussed about losing 9-15 to her, apparently she fences internationally or some crazy shit :P

The only problem? I’m kind of dumb and often forget to use it.
Plus, if I post something via email, there’s no way to queue it.

Today in chemistry my teacher showed us one of the most gorgeous things I’ve seen without special effects…deposition of iodine!
Iodine in itself is really pretty in its pure form: as a solid, it’s a sparkly dark gray crystal, and as a gas, it’s purple!
Anyway, it sublimes when heated slightly - there’s no liquid phase at room temperature, so it just turns straight to a purple...
